Panorex

Panorex X-Rays are primarily used for:

  • Assessment of tooth development

  • Diagnosis of periodontal disease
  • Detection of any abnormal findings in the orofacial region

During your X-Ray, you’ll be asked to bite down on a small tool, which will help the hygienist to position your head correctly in order to get the best picture. You’ll be asked to keep very still while the Panorex machine moves around your head for approximately 20-30 seconds.
